Bony - I Get Around

Yes, the horse's name is Bony. He's an awesome horse, and he also looks pretty good in pictures (save for a few that were taken in his run, with like zero light), so I figured he'd be a good subject for a slideshow. :)

The music is "I Get Around" by the Beach Boys (arranged by Michael Sweeny), performed by Concert Band '07 - '08 in their 2008 spring concert. Sorry about some of the not-so-great stuff, it's mostly high notes that don't sound too good.

Credit music is "Between Wind and Water" (arranged by Michael Story), performed by Beginning Band '07 - '08 in the 2008 spring concert.

Eh, with my last couple of horse videos, I felt like I was neglecting the others just because I didn't have a zillion pictures of them. So I decided I'd make this, with most of the horses I've met/ridden (most of them I've ridden at least once, but not all).

Music is 25 or 6 to 4 (arranged by Paul Murtha), performed by Symphonic Band '06 - '07.

Horse Contest Entry - Quarter Horse

Entry for a horse contest on YouTube. All pictures are of horses at the barn where I ride, and all are Quarter Horses, except for Jimmy (the appaloosa patterned one) that ended up kind of off to the side in a couple pictures... but hey, nobody saw that. :P Enjoy. :)

Music is American Cameos by Jay Dawson (figured considering the breed, it fit), performed by Symphonic Band at the 2008 District Assessment.

Eye of the Tiger - Piano

Eye of the Tiger... I am totally aware that it doesn't sound much like the real song. It's not supposed to. I actually put this together myself based on Gerald Sebesky's arrangement of the song for concert band, by using the clarinet, alto sax, and trumpet parts. It's not great, and the sound quality is kind of blah, but I did my best.

Anyway, the good news is, even though it doesn't sound like much on here, I got a keyboard! This is a Casio WK110, on the 002 (Grand Piano) setting... this song sounds better on other ones, but I decided not to be too weird.

Memory (CATS) - Full - Clarinet

The full version of Memory from CATS -- I recorded this earlier right after I had gotten the music, and the last part looked impossible to play, but then I remembered with a clarinet it's two fewer flats instead of two more... anyway, so I can play it now. Grant it, there are mess ups, and I know the tempo is off...

For the record, the break where the keychange is was intentional. I recorded this in chunks (since I couldn't play the whole thing through without messing up :P), and since that part is supposed to come after this long instrumental thing, I figured at least a little break was probably a good idea.

Credits are difficult to read, I know. They could be worse...

Clarinet Playing

My somewhat lousy clarinet playing, made worse by my inability to play well when recording... first song is the clarinet solo and the parts right before and after from American Cameos (arranged by Jay Dawson), second is Tchaikovsky's Reverie.

At the end is a sort of rambling and a disclaimer from me... before you watch this (if it's not already too late), just so you know... it could be hazardous to your health. There. Now nobody can sue me.
